Mary Linden navigates the perilous landscape of Occupied France during World War II as a dedicated worker for the French Red Cross. Her mission to aid downed Allied pilots in their escape to safety becomes increasingly complex due to her prominent position and the romantic entanglement of her daughter with a German officer. Inspired by real events, the narrative explores themes of courage and sacrifice amid the turmoil of war, as personal loyalties clash with the harsh realities of occupation.
