I Am a Teacher

Dedicated to the victory in the Great Patriotic War (1941–1945), this war drama centers on Pavel Zubov, a village schoolteacher whose home is seized by the fascists. Teaching is his true calling, and he holds fast to love and family as life's core values. But a series of events transforms his outlook, pulling him toward a darker understanding of reality. With the enemy revealing its true nature, he faces an agonizing decision: survive by adapting to the new order, or fight for his family, his love, his homeland, his ideals, and his beliefs.
