During the early days of World War II, a young motorcycle messenger in the Austrian army stumbles upon an injured fox cub and decides to rescue it, bringing the animal along as he navigates occupied France. As the chaos of war unfolds, an unexpected friendship blossoms between the soldier and the fox. This poignant tale draws inspiration from the real-life experiences of Franz Streitberger, the great-grandfather of director Adrian Goiginger, highlighting the resilience of companionship amidst the horrors of conflict.
