At just fourteen, Zain—once Palestine’s brightest swimming hope—now navigates a world shattered by conflict and starvation. With his father gone, he shoulders the impossible weight of caring for his little brother. When humanitarian aid parachutes into the Mediterranean, sinking beyond reach, Zain has no choice but to dive into the cold, unforgiving water. His strokes are no longer for medals or glory; they are a desperate, brutal fight to bring back something—anything—to keep his brother alive.
