In 1992, a pandemic of viral encephalitis sparked the development of "Your Forma," a brain-implanted device designed to capture all sensory experiences. Special detectives known as "Cyber Investigators" sift through this data to crack cases. Prodigy Echika Hieda, whose extraordinary abilities leave her feeling isolated, is teamed up with Harold, a humanoid companion called "Amicus." Together, they delve into the darkest secrets of the world.
