Salute Your Shorts is a beloved comedy series that aired on Nickelodeon between 1991 and 1992, with reruns extending into 1999. Inspired by Steve Slavkin's 1986 book, the show unfolds at Camp Anawanna, a summer camp filled with mischief and camaraderie among teenage campers. The antics revolve around their overbearing counselor and the various humorous escapades the kids embark on. The title references a classic camp prank where campers hoist a boy's boxer shorts up a flagpole, prompting their peers to salute the cheeky display. It's a nostalgic look at the joys and challenges of summer camp life.
