Blott on the Landscape

Lady Maud's attempts to initiate divorce proceedings spark a cunning scheme in Sir Giles' mind: constructing a bypass through Cleene Gorge, which would not only destroy Lady Maud's ancestral estate but also yield a hefty government payout. Amidst the chaos, the hapless Dundridge, a ministry official clad in Y-fronts, adds to the hilarity. Sir Giles' resourceful Mrs. Forthby, embodying both temptress and mischievous schoolgirl, provides further amusement, while Blott, the enigmatic gardener, observes the peculiarities of British aristocracy. Featuring a stellar cast, including George Cole, Geraldine James, and David Suchet, this comedy delivers delightful absurdity.
