Bates Motel

Bates Motel serves as a modern prelude to Alfred Hitchcock's classic Psycho, exploring the complex relationship between Norman Bates and his mother, Norma. Set in a fictional coastal Oregon town, the narrative kicks off following the death of Norma's husband. Seeking a fresh start, she buys a rundown motel, where the duo attempts to rebuild their lives. As secrets unravel and tensions rise, the show delves into the psychological dynamics that shape Norman into the iconic figure seen in the original film, blending horror with family drama.
