Norm Henderson, a former hockey player with a shaky reputation, finds himself booted from the sport due to his gambling habits and tax evasion. Rather than facing prison time, he is assigned community service as a social worker. Norm's unconventional outlook and frustration with bureaucratic processes often clash with his colleagues, leading to humorous and chaotic situations. Through his journey, he navigates the challenges of helping others while grappling with his own past, creating a unique blend of comedy and social commentary.
