Rookie attorney Chen Boyun is driven by a childhood vow to fight for social justice, seizing every chance to advocate for those in need. In stark contrast, seasoned lawyer Fang Chang opts for quick resolutions, having detached himself emotionally from his cases. When Chen joins Fang as an intern and personal assistant, their differing philosophies on justice clash, sparking intense debates over what constitutes the "best interests" of their clients. As they navigate their contrasting approaches, both lawyers are forced to confront their values and the complexities of the legal system.
