Southland

Southland offers a gritty and unvarnished glimpse into the complexities of crime in Los Angeles, diving deep into the intertwined lives of law enforcement, offenders, victims, and their families. The narrative follows four key figures: Officer John Cooper, a veteran cop fighting to regain his footing post-surgery; Officer Ben Sherman, a rookie eager to grasp the realities of policing; Detective Lydia Adams, burdened by an overwhelming caseload that increasingly impacts her personal life; and Sammy Bryant, a former detective who returns to uniform duty following the harrowing loss of his partner.
