Jess Mastriani, a typical girl with dreams of running her parents' Indiana restaurant, experiences a life-altering event when she is struck by lightning. This bizarre incident grants her the ability to see visions of missing persons. Embracing her talent, Jess becomes a consultant for the FBI, using her skills to assist in locating the lost. As she transitions to a full-time agent, her strict adherence to protocol often clashes with her partner's more relaxed approach. Together with her colleagues at the FBI's Washington, D.C., office, Jess navigates the complexities of solving cases while honing her unique gift.
