Titus is a dark comedy sitcom that premiered on Fox in 2000, created by Christopher Titus alongside Jack Kenny and Brian Hargrove. Drawing inspiration from Titus's stand-up routine, particularly his one-man show Norman Rockwell is Bleeding, the series weaves his real-life family dynamics into its narrative. The show centers on Titus, a whimsical adult who runs a custom car shop, navigating life with his dim-witted half-brother Dave, kind-hearted girlfriend Erin, overly virtuous friend Tommy, and his crude, bigoted father, Ken "Papa" Titus, whose multiple divorces add to the family chaos.
