Cleaning up the gritty streets poses a daunting challenge for even the most enthusiastic newcomers. Yet, a dedicated group of officers thrives in this chaotic environment, tackling everything from drug rings to arson and violent extremists. At the helm is the brilliantly unpredictable DI Vivienne Deering, whose unconventional methods keep the team on their toes. However, when a particularly depraved serial killer surfaces, even the most seasoned veterans find themselves shaken, forcing them to confront their limits in a high-stakes battle against darkness.
