At the dawn of the 20th century, “Another Period” hilariously chronicles the extravagant yet empty lives of the Bellacourt family, Newport's wealthiest residents. Sisters Lillian and Beatrice are preoccupied with maintaining their appearances, securing invitations to the most exclusive social events, and striving for fame in an era where it’s a daunting challenge. With their vast fortune overshadowing their lack of substance, the Bellacourts navigate a world of privilege and absurdity, delivering sharp satire on social status and the pursuit of fame in 1902.
