Set against the backdrop of 1930s Korea under Japanese occupation, Chicago Typewriter weaves the tale of three writers from that era who find new lives in modern-day Seoul. Their reincarnated forms manifest as a once-celebrated author struggling with writer's block, an enigmatic ghostwriter, and a sharp-tongued critic who can't stand the successful writer. As their pasts intertwine with the present, the narrative explores themes of creativity, love, and the haunting echoes of history, blending humor and drama in a unique literary journey.
