In a desolate city of the deceased, a young boy named Will is nurtured by three unconventional guardians: the robust skeleton warrior Blood, the elegant mummified priestess Mary, and the grumpy ghostly sorcerer Gus. As they impart their wisdom and affection, Will grapples with profound questions about his identity. His journey leads him through the eerie landscape, where he seeks to uncover the hidden stories of his undead mentors. Along the way, he learns about the virtues of benevolent deities and the darkness of malevolent ones, ultimately setting him on the path to becoming a Paladin.
