Amidst the tumultuous backdrop of the Kamakura and Muromachi periods during the Kenmu Restoration, Hojo Tokiyuki finds himself fleeing after Ashikaga Takauji's coup shatters his family. Accompanied by a dubious priest and a band of loyal followers, the young noble is driven by a burning desire for vengeance. His sole advantage lies in a remarkable talent for evasion and concealment, enabling him to navigate a world filled with danger. As he strives to reclaim his lost honor, Tokiyuki’s journey unravels themes of loyalty, survival, and the quest for justice.
