Lizzie Dripping is a charming British children's series aired by the BBC in 1973 and 1975, crafted by Helen Cresswell. Set in the quaint village of Little Hemlock, the story follows Penelope, a young girl with a rich imagination who befriends a local witch visible only to her. This unique connection is challenged by Penelope's notoriety for being a fanciful storyteller, complicating her attempts to convince others of her magical friend’s existence. The show explores themes of imagination and belief, blending whimsy with the trials of growing up.
