Amid the turbulence of 1968, youth across cities like Berkeley, Paris, Prague, and Tokyo revolted against societal norms. Veteran filmmaker Don Kent skillfully explores this vibrant yet tumultuous global movement in a compelling two-part documentary. Set against the backdrop of the Vietnam War, civil rights battles, and ideological clashes, Kent captures the rise, fall, and lasting impact of these protests. With rich visuals and expert commentary from historians and activists, Les années 68 weaves together seemingly disparate events into a striking analysis of a decade that continues to influence our present day.
