After spending his entire life as a housecat, Kevin comes to a surprising realization: he no longer wishes to live with humans. Drawing loosely from a real-life breakup that left him feeling torn, he starts to ponder the possibility of a life without the responsibilities of pet ownership. He wonders, "Could there be a reality where I embrace being single and leave the owner role behind for good?"
