Arthur & George

Arthur & George presents a gripping three-part adaptation of Julian Barnes' novel, spotlighting Martin Clunes as the legendary author Arthur Conan Doyle. Set against the backdrop of early 20th century England, the narrative unfolds in 1906 across Staffordshire, Hampshire, and London. The story follows Sir Arthur and his loyal secretary, Alfred 'Woodie' Wood, as they delve into the controversial case of George Edalji. Wrongly convicted for animal mutilation and the author of scandalous letters, Edalji's plight becomes a catalyst for Doyle's pursuit of justice and truth amidst societal prejudice.
