George Lopez navigates the challenges of fatherhood with his teenage daughter, Carmen, and his dyslexic son, Max, alongside his supportive wife, Angie. His parenting journey is shaped by his own difficult upbringing, marked by a troubled childhood under the care of his neglectful, alcoholic mother, Benny. As George balances work and family life, he often draws on his past experiences, providing humor and heart as he strives to create a better life for his children than the one he had.
