Noel's House Party

Noel's House Party, a beloved light entertainment program on BBC, captivated audiences on Saturday nights throughout the 1990s. Hosted by Noel Edmonds, the show unfolded in the whimsical setting of Crinkley Bottom, rife with playful innuendo. Following the format of Noel's Saturday Roadshow, it featured fan-favorite elements like the Gunge Tank and the Gotcha Oscar. Mr. Blobby emerged from the Gotcha segment, becoming a fixture despite occasionally overshadowing the show's concept. Regulars included actors like Frank Thornton and Vicki Michelle, while guest appearances from stars like Michael Crawford and Ken Dodd added delightful surprises. In 2010, it was hailed as the greatest Saturday night TV show ever.
