Ladies of Letters

Two eccentric English widows forge a deep friendship through their correspondence, navigating life’s ups and downs over the years. Their bond began at a wedding, where a chance meeting under a table set the stage for their chaotic adventures. Misunderstandings abound as they and their families reenact the events from their letters—whether at home, in prison, or elsewhere—unearthing a mix of humor, bitterness, and heartfelt emotions along the way. This lively series draws inspiration from a beloved 13-year BBC Radio 4 program, showcasing the art of letter writing in a delightfully comedic light.
