One morning, 14-year-old Minke Moorman vanishes—kidnapped. Three years pass before she suddenly resurfaces, wild and untamed, bearing a strange wing tattoo across her back. Her homecoming throws the whole family into turmoil. The trauma has transformed Minke in ways no one can fully grasp, and unbeknownst to them all, her abductor is still pulling the strings from the shadows, manipulating her every move.
