Lauren and Ed’s passionate romance challenges societal norms with a striking 26-year age difference. Their love is met with skepticism, especially from Lauren's meddling family and Ed’s ex-wife Lydia, who conveniently moves in next door. Disapproving parents Emma and Clive, along with Lauren's sister Debs and her family, add to the chaos. Meanwhile, Ed's well-meaning but bumbling brother Alan and his scheming grandson Tim complicate matters further. Navigating love amid familial opinions proves difficult, highlighting the reality that while partners can be chosen, family dynamics are often unavoidable.
