8 Out of 10 Cats

8 Out of 10 Cats, a British comedy panel show, has entertained audiences since its debut on June 3, 2005, thanks to Zeppotron and Channel 4. Centered on humor derived from statistics and public opinion surveys, it utilizes a mix of existing polls and new ones commissioned from Harris Poll. The title playfully references a famous advertising slogan for Whiskas cat food, which claimed that "8 out of 10 cats prefer Whiskas." With its witty banter and engaging format, the show cleverly explores societal trends and quirks through a comedic lens.
