Elvis, the Colonel and the Mob

This documentary series reveals the hidden saga behind Elvis Presley’s meteoric ascent, spectacular collapse, and improbable comeback—all steered by the shadowy figures pulling his strings from the wings. The pivotal wager? A seven-year stretch headlining in Las Vegas, that desert playground of gambling, neon excess, and mob entanglements. Yet the Vegas gamble wasn’t Elvis’ own design. It sprang from the calculating mind of his enigmatic, controlling handler, Colonel Tom Parker—a man carrying a buried history and his own murky alliances in the shadows.
