Terry and June

Terry and June Medford navigate the challenges of middle age while settling into their new home in Purley, south-east London. With Aunt Lucy and their mynah bird gone, along with infrequent visits from their daughters, the couple finds themselves relying on a few friendly faces: Beattie, their neighbor, and Terry's talkative colleague, Malcolm, along with their stern boss, Sir Dennis Hodge. Amidst these changes, Terry's stubborn antics often derail June's efforts to create a comfortable, harmonious life, leading to humorous and relatable situations that highlight their everyday struggles as a couple.
