The U.S. and the Holocaust

Rooted in insights from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum’s "Americans and the Holocaust" exhibition, this documentary series delves into the ascent of Hitler and Nazism against a backdrop of worldwide antisemitism and racism. It explores the eugenics movement in America and the oppressive race laws of the Jim Crow South, highlighting how these elements intertwined with the broader narrative of the Holocaust. By connecting historical threads, the series offers a profound reflection on the implications of prejudice and intolerance in both American and global history.
