In 1956, the Suez Crisis looms over Whitehall, but inside the dusty corridors of the Foreign Office, two young clerks couldn't care less about the crumbling British Empire. For them, the real dramas unfold far from geopolitics—in the thrill of chasing girls, the pulse of rock music, and the tangled web of romance. History marches on, but their eyes are fixed elsewhere.
