A gathering of literary giants—Lord Byron, Mary Shelley, and Percy Shelley—takes a dark turn as philosophical debates spiral into a whirlwind of manipulation, substances, and forbidden desires. Set in the secluded Villa Diodati by Lake Geneva, tensions rise among Byron, his former lover Claire Clairmont, and doctor John Polidori. To fend off summer's monotony, they challenge one another to create the ultimate horror tale. This fateful summer not only breeds rivalry and passion but also inspires Mary Shelley’s iconic novel, Frankenstein, forever altering the landscape of literature.
