Amidst the turmoil of war, two courageous coalminers, both partisans, embark on a perilous journey to rescue three orphaned children from a conflict-ridden region. Their mission is to transport the vulnerable kids to a safer, liberated territory, navigating through treacherous landscapes and evading enemy forces. As they forge a bond with the children, the miners face not only external dangers but also their own fears and doubts. Their determination to safeguard the innocent shines a light on the resilience of the human spirit in times of crisis.
