A small-town pickpocket struggles to navigate life as his friends ascend to more respectable professions. Feeling resentful and left behind, he grapples with his identity and purpose. The once-thrilling thrill of petty theft now feels hollow against the backdrop of his friends' successes. As he contemplates his choices, the protagonist confronts the harsh reality of his circumstances, questioning whether he can break free from his past or if he is destined to remain a relic of a fading lifestyle. The story captures the tension between ambition and the weight of one's choices.
