Father James, a devoted priest in Tipperary, Ireland, dreams of returning to Rome but faces a hurdle: he must first fund the construction of a new church. Rather than wait idly, he takes an unconventional route by establishing a cinema in the town. This bold venture not only aims to gather the necessary funds but also transforms the community's entertainment landscape, blending faith and film in unexpected ways. As the project unfolds, Father James navigates the complexities of cinema's impact on his parishioners and his own aspirations.
