Set in Melbourne during the punk explosion of 1978, Dogs in Space follows a quirky group of misfits living in a rundown squat. This eclectic ensemble, fueled by vintage sci-fi flicks, music, and substances, navigates the chaotic lifestyle of the punk scene. As they grapple with their identities and relationships, the looming threat of the SKYLAB satellite crashing down creates an unpredictable backdrop, adding urgency to their already tumultuous lives. The film captures the raw energy and rebellious spirit of a generation yearning for freedom and expression.
