Exploring the intricate relationship between the human body and societal perceptions, Eye Candy delves into how our physical form serves as both a vessel for experience and a battleground for instinctual impulses. It examines the cultural elevation of beauty ideals, often rooted in the figures of David and Venus, which has led to the sexualization and stigmatization of our natural shapes. The film poses provocative questions about the naked body’s societal implications, challenging viewers to reconsider its political significance and the notion that we are much more than mere appearances.
