Yuri Ancarani's documentary immerses viewers in the extravagant realm of Qatari sheikhs who are fervent about amateur falconry. Traveling across the Persian Gulf, Ancarani follows a falconer preparing for a prestigious competition. The film captures the lavish lifestyle of these affluent individuals, showcasing thrilling scenes of SUV races over sand dunes, falcons soaring from private jets, and cheetahs being whisked away on desert joyrides in flashy Ferraris. The surreal juxtaposition of nature and luxury paints a striking portrait of wealth and tradition in contemporary Qatar.
