In 18th century England, amid a devastating pox epidemic and the Jacobite uprising, Sir Chauncey Savage and Lady Savage embark on their relentless quest for a better existence. The irony of their last name, Savage, is not lost on anyone, as their lives unfold in a truly savage manner. Their story is marked by outrageous duels, indulgent excess, and violence, creating a chaotic yet humorous commentary on social class and the thirst for power.
