The Third Generation

A chaotic satire explores the absurdities of guerrilla terrorism as a group of radical leftists unwittingly falls under the influence of the West German government. Their misguided attempts at activism are co-opted, serving as a convenient excuse for the state to enforce its own authoritarian measures. Through dark humor and sharp commentary, the film critiques the intersection of idealism and manipulation, showcasing how the very revolutionaries seeking change become unwitting pawns in a larger political game. The result is a thought-provoking examination of power dynamics and the consequences of radical action.
