Bill Brown's *Roswell* whimsically explores the infamous 1947 UFO crash in Roswell, New Mexico. Taking the event seriously yet with a playful lens, Brown imagines a 'star boy' joyriding through the cosmos, lost in the vastness of space. Through the use of a fish-eye lens, the film creates a distorted yet enchanting view of the landscape, making the sky feel both intimate and traversable. One of its most captivating moments features Brown holding papers while an animated spaceship darts across the page, highlighting the intersection of UFO lore and the enchanting realm of cinema.
