You Will Be My Son

Prestigious winemaker Paul de Marseul, owner of a celebrated vineyard in Saint-Emilion, is dismayed at the prospect of his son Martin inheriting the family business. Lacking the dedication and talent Paul values in a winemaker, Martin becomes a constant source of disappointment for his father. When Philippe, the son of his manager, arrives at the vineyard, Paul seizes the opportunity to elevate him as his successor, sidelining Martin's ambitions. This choice ignites a complex web of familial tension and unspoken desires, ultimately challenging the bonds of loyalty and legacy within the wine estate.
