Written by Mrs Bach: Broken Silence

A deep dive into the legacy of Johann Sebastian Bach reveals a provocative theory: could his celebrated compositions have been penned by his second wife, Anna Magdalena? Professor Martin Jarvis, a skilled academic, musician, and forensic document examiner, uncovers compelling evidence to support this claim. However, his findings face fierce opposition from traditionalists who uphold the Bach family narrative. As Jarvis navigates this contentious landscape, the film explores themes of authorship and gender in music, challenging long-held beliefs about one of history's greatest composers.
