Rod and Katherine Wright are navigating retirement in Florida, though boredom and homesickness for their children linger as Christmas approaches. Their golden retriever, Jake, and his trio of puppy pals—Mario, Luigi, and Pasquale—bring joy and new friendships, especially with neighbor Lisa. However, chaos ensues when the playful pups disrupt a wedding proposal, revealing that Lisa's ex, David, is involved. As David prepares for his upcoming wedding, both he and Lisa grapple with unresolved feelings. With the encouragement of Rod, Katherine, and their furry companions, a heartwarming holiday reconnection may be on the horizon.
