Set in 1976, Diggers follows a close-knit group of four friends navigating adolescence in The Hamptons. Directed by Katherine Dieckmann, the film captures the essence of working-class life as these young clam diggers grapple with the legacies of their fathers and grandfathers. As they confront the shifting dynamics of their community and their own identities, the friends must learn to adapt to a world that is evolving around them. The story beautifully intertwines nostalgia with the challenges of growing up, reflecting on the bonds of friendship and the inevitability of change.
