Originating from a Parisian stage play, "Oscar" follows the chaotic day of Bertrand Barnier, portrayed by the iconic French actor Louis de Funès. On this eventful morning, Bertrand discovers that his daughter is expecting a child, an employee has embezzled a significant sum from his firm, his maid plans to leave him for a wealthy suitor, and a bodybuilder is vying for his daughter’s hand in marriage. The plot spirals into a comedic whirlwind filled with misunderstandings and some of the most memorable slapstick moments in French film history.
