In early 20th century England, Arthur Winslow's celebration of his daughter Catherine's engagement takes a dark turn when he discovers that his 14-year-old son, Ronnie, has been expelled from the royal naval academy for allegedly stealing five shillings. Confronted by his father, Ronnie vehemently denies the accusation. Determined to clear his son's name, Arthur embarks on a relentless quest for justice, jeopardizing his wealth, health, and family harmony, all while risking Catherine's future in the process. The struggle reveals deep truths about honor, integrity, and the lengths a father will go to protect his child.
