Nestled on the Missouri-Arkansas border, the town of Border City stands as a rare neutral ground amid the raging Civil War. Led by a resolute female mayor and a strong city council, the community remains steadfast in its nonpartisan stance. Ready to maintain order, they firmly threaten to execute anyone—be it a Union or Confederate sympathizer—who dares to incite unrest among the townspeople. Tensions rise as the fragile peace hangs by a thread, testing the limits of their resolve and the town's unity.
