Abraham, a single father raising two sons in a struggling Puerto Rican neighborhood, grows increasingly anxious about their future. Observing how Cuban immigrants are celebrated and offered generous opportunities, he concocts a daring scheme. His plan involves staging his sons as Cuban refugees, hoping they will be adopted by affluent Anglo families. Driven by desperation and love, Abraham's intentions spark a complex journey that explores identity, belonging, and the lengths a parent will go to secure a better life for his children.
